For Dish to do an uplink change its basically mergeing an excel file into an exisiting excel file. They don't take long to do. (From what I understand its basically the push of a button)

The hard part is getting everything wired up and running in the backround. :)

Every time I read your posts now I imagine that super duper "radio DJ voice" combined with that cold you had in that podcast.

It's really quite funny.

Nope all the changes in the backround (wiring) are always done before they make the software uplink changes available to the receivers.

Hey who knows, in perhaps election day is a holiday at Dish Network and the uplink is delayed a day.

You never know... this IS Dish Network we are talking about. :)

If you every wondered who put the uplinks together for Dish, I think I found a picture:
