usb ports on r15?

1.Anyone know what the future use of usb ports (1 on back, 1 on front) are for.
2. Is is possible to network the r15 w/ a pc?

Just got this thing yesterday so I know nothing other than the manual.

The USB ports are going to be used for the DirecTV2Go device that is coming out this year.
