The instructions from the motor's booklet made it sounds easy. However, did anyone tried this method before? The thing is the website has 2 boxes that the booklet didn't: motor tube angle and antennae bracket elevation.

When I setup my motor - - - I was able to get on my True South Satellite using this web site.

Satellite Finder / Dish Pointing Calculator with Google Maps | DishPointer.com

I have not heard of GAAPS thus I'm not able to help on that one. Pole must be, must be, must be plumb all the way around or you will have trouble tracking the arc.

Which receiver are you using?

chapelrun, I have the SG2100. I used the same website but not able to get anything. Did you use all the same exact settings that this website gave you like I did?
