Verizon starts carrying Varsity Media programming

Entertainment media company Varsity Media Group Inc. says its Varsity TV launched on Verizon Communications Inc.'s fiber-optic video service.
Varsity TV is available on Verizon's FiOS TV service in 19 communities in North Texas, Virginia, Florida, Massachusetts and New York.
Varsity TV provides user-created content from teenagers and high schools throughout the country. Programming from Varsity Media Group, based in Austin, is targeted at teens and young adults.
Verizon (NYSE: VZ - News) is based in New York City.
