Vip211 with Ehd connected, problem

I would like to ask if anyone else had this problem. I have a Vip211 with a ehd connected to it. Here recently when I try to watch a recorded show. I get an error message saying that the ehd is not connected to the usb port. However, its connected and the light is showing.

Be sure you disconnect the EHD to begin with.

I tried that and still got the same error message. However I'll try 1 more time and see what happens.
