I searched the forums for this, but didn't find a good conclusive solution.

I have a DishPro LNBF that is pointed to 119 and 110. I have a Legacy Twin LNBF pointed to 61.5. I have tried a SW21 and a Diseqc switch to get both the signals but it is not working with the ViP211k. Does that mean the the SW21 will not work?

If the SW21 will not work should I get the 1k.4 EA setup?

Thanks

Legacy switches are not compatible with VIP receivers sorry
Legacy switches are backward compatible with VIP receivers BUT it needs to be a pure Legacy system. Legacy and Dish Pro equipment can't be combined on the same system. Surma884 if you replace the Legay LNB with a Dish Pro and use a DP21 the equipment will all be compatible. Or you can go the other way and replace the DP LNBF with another Legacy and use the rest of the Legacy equipment.

Your best method is the 1000.4EA .

I'd like to see how that works being a VIP receiver uses band translating and legacy equipment does not have diseq
Indeed all Dish receivers with a 3-digit model number are DishPro (bandstacked) capable. But as boba stated above, they are backwards compatible. Ran a 301 and 501 for years on legacy switch gear without a problem. Converted to DishPro LNBs and a DP34, and those receivers continued to work as before (only faster).

There are some legacy (4-digit) receivers that won't work with DishPro gear, such as my DP34. So there is no forward compatibility.
