Does the Hopper USB OTA module work with the new 211z receivers?

No, the 211Z doesn't have an option, at all, for OTA....

Yes, but not for OTA module....strictly for Hopper. You can't even buy one from Dish until a Hopper is activated on your account.

Edit, now that I look at it, it seems the I found one place that says that the USB OTA module will work on a 211Z. I can't find a manual for the 211Z so I am unsure....

Go to DishDepot it states states 2 usb ports one for a hard drive and one for OTA module so I guess yes.

The USB ports can be used for EHD, not sure if Hopper OTA can be used. If someone knows, please post.

I have a 211Z and this shows up in the myDish store.

When I go to Dish store, it only lists Hopper w/Sling as compatible receiver...but maybe that's because I have one.

Does your 211z have an optical output?

No optical output, just HDMI output, satellite in, A/V RCA jacks, ethernet port and two USB ports. No telephone line input, either.
