vip722 will not record OTA

I have had a vip722 for a few years now, and it has a nice OTA antenna attached. On all of the channels that I record OTA, the signal is always between 90 and 100%. I noticed a week or so ago that some of my shows were not recording. If I go into history, it says that the show was recorded, and there is no record of it being deleted. But the show is not on the DVR. This seems to happen more frequently now, and I can't figure out what the problem could be. All shows that are not OTA are recording just fine.

Has anyone else had this problem recently? Any suggestions on how I might fix it?

Are you able to watch the channels live? If so, when in doubt, pull the plug (hard reboot).

hard reboot and then delete the timers and make new ones

Thanks. I'll give these ideas a try. My wife did say that some of the programs are recording, and some of them are only recording parts.

I tried these ideas, and it didn't work. One of the shows we were set up to record last night was Scandal. When 8:00 came and went, we looked at the DVR and there was no red light. We turned it on and took a look, and it showed that it was recording. But there was no recording in our list of recorded shows, and the red light never did come on. The signal strength was 95% Really weird stuff going on.
