okay looking at voom for hdtv for one tv, yet want to keep dish for sd for other tvs. My question is does voom need to install another dish outside, since i have two allready(61.5 119) ?thanks harvey

Just use one of the LNBs from 61.5 to route the coax to the VOOM box. So you do not need another dish up. Explain this to intaller.

The question relates to what you are using 61.5. If you are going into a legacy SW64 switch to get some locals or CBS-EAST for Dish, then you will not have an extra line. I had one line going to Voom and another to a 5000 for HD recording, recently JILLED by Dish. So the answer relates to how the non-HD sets are configured. The 61.5 dish may still need to be tweaked slightly, even if you use one of your DLNB lines, as Voom is a little more fussy on pointing.
