I seriously doubt that it is a "hard job" to program the E* receivers to look at the new voom sat so I would just remove the "cable favs" and leave the VOOM21 and the other HD channels that VOOM currently broadcasts. Then move everything that E* broadcasts off they're sat and put it on the VOOM sat.
