The Brent Musberger driven sports gambling channel VSIN (Vegas Sports and Information Network) is leaving SXM 12/31 in order to convert into a combination pay and free podcasting service. SXM will add something called Sports Grid channel, staffed by a list of people I have never heard of on 1/7.
This does not seem to be a rights fee dispute, but VSIN's desire to distribute free and pay over the internet, and SXM's desire for exclusive content.
Personally I really like VSIN, but not enough to pay the prices they are asking for it.
