Washington DC coordinates

I need to point a globecast dish to AMC-4 satellite for BVN TV, does anyone know what the coordinates are?

do a Google search for: longitude Washington DC, and you will get:

Current local time in Washington DC - District of Columbia - U.S.A.

Latitude: 38° 53' North
Longitude: 77° 02' West

Then, you can input that info to GeoSatFinder to get aiming info to the bird of your choice.
... or just input your city/state to the program ...
Use the magnetic azimuth, if you're going by a compass.

Then take your latitude and longitude and enter it in Sadoun's Satellite Heading Calculator and you will get these results:

Satellite West Longitude: 101
38.5 °Elevation
215.3 °Azimuth (Geographic) + about 11 because of your magnetic declination (for a compass).
26.7 °LNBF polarization tilt (skew) Facing towards the dish (Turn LNBF COUNTER-CLOCKWISE)
