Way to Teach Commands to 722 Remote in Sat Mode

I really love that you can teach the new remotes commands. I'd like a way for the wife and kids to change the channel on the TV to our security cameras without leaving Sat mode.

Is there any way to teach commands to the 4 colored buttons while in Satellite mode? Or, are there any 'punch through" commands for the TV besides on/off, volume and mute?

AFAIK, in sat mode, the only non sat commands available are TV on/off/volume.

I didn't think the remotes that came with my ViP722 were learning remotes. I think they are just pre-programmed with a variety of other devices.

The gray remotes are not programmable, the new black ones are. I just a few weeks ago got a new 211K that came with the gray remote. My neighbor just got a new 211 and it came with a black remote. I guess it depends on when the receiver was packaged.
