Yeah, I'm getting ready to freak out. I've been off almost all day, now I have to be off before I go to bed. YIKES!!

Well Maybe not... 
The move went smooth the forum is running on the new server. But there was an issue with the DNS that would have caused email not to work correctly for 24 / 48 hours. So we have had to fix that DNS issue and wait for it to propagate throughout the internet before flipping over.
In addition all the email accounts could not be converted over to the new system, so I will need to recreate all those accounts by hand tomorrow so we are ready for the switchover, which we are now planning for Friday.
So for now we are still on the old server.

I was running a tracert and nothing I was still being directed to Dallas...then I saw this thread which explained it all. 
Some interesting numbers, it took a total of 2 hours to dump the databse, upload the database to the new server and import it on the new server.
So when we do it again on Friday night the move wills till take at least 2 hours as we will need to do all the database stuff again.

It looks like we are a GO for tomorrow night.
We plan on bringing down the board at 10pm and copying over the database again (a 2 hour process) and then with a few changes should be good to go!
