Welcome Pack no longer available

Just got off the phone with a Dish CSR and was told that the Welcome Pack is no longer available. This is the first I've heard of this. Anyone aware that it was removed?

It isn't listed as an option on mine. I have the Welcome Pack now and I was going to upgrade to Flex. I was told If I cancelled the Welcome Pack that I would not be able to get it again since it is no longer offered.

The website says that it is "no longer for sale" so my guess is that it is there as long as you have it and if you switch off of it, you lose it. Or maybe it is for retention purposes only.

When we switched from Top 250 to Welcome pac., it wasn't offered on Dish's web site. This was maybe a year ago. A sweat native English speaking lady from CO had no problem when she allowed that to happen. we didn't say 'either that or we are leaving!'. And, the most importantly she did not require a 2 year commitment.
I reckon it might still be available if Dish thinks you are dropping the service.

After giving up top 250 I don't miss a lot. Just CNN and few soccer games on BEIN.

Welcome Pack is not listed in the Compare Packages page on the Dish site and has not been for at least a year.

I thought Welcome Pack was closed off at least a couple years ago. CSR might move the velvet rope but I thought it was gone. When I bumped to Plex there was a warning that Welcome Pack was no longer offered and there was no coming back.

You can put your account on pause and it will still be there. I've done that numerous times. But that is the only way you can stop it and keep it. *I haven't quit Dish and been offered it to stay as I'm still under contract.
