What causes this???

I haven’t been able to get this to work for months. Any ideas? I only have 1 Internet Connection.

The Directv app is at best glitchy. Try uninstalling and reinstalling it. I doubt it will help but it's worth a try.

I believe you can also do that from the D* website, but I find it easier to do it right from the HR54 or C61K.

I quit trying to watch shows from the DVR on tablet of phone a long time ago, it rarely works.

I never leave home much so I guess it doesn’t matter. I’m always home to set the DVR LOL
