I'm migrating from FTA and mid-line pizza-pan service.
Since both are SD (and will probably never go HD), I am pushing them to the back burner.

Got a dual digital OTA tuner (thanks Linuxman!) running Vista Media Center.
This lets me record & play back the 90-some local channels, including any in full HD.
Most of the -good- FTA channels are actually OTA here, as well.

Downloading shows has been pretty handy, too.
Now with the OTA recorder coming on line, my d/l will probably decrease.

edit:
This wasn't asked, but I also make DVD-compatible recordings onto DVD blanks.
When you use HD as source, the DVDs are outstanding! - ;)
AND, I can put HD onto DVD media that'll play in some Blu-Ray players, as 720.

OTA antenna, Dish Network (America's Everything Pack, Plus Platinum HD), 4dtv (whatever I can find for free), FTA (Cband and Ku), internet streaming, plus DVD player (rarely used).

With all due respect, Green One, I must differ from you here. Nearly everything I watch on FTA is full 720 or 1080 HD. :)
...And to stay on the original topic of "What do you use with your TV?" I will say, a remote control, and sometimes a bagged snack! :D

Just saying that MY equipment is SD, as I've resisted the urge to buy into either in HD.
Both FTA and Dish cost too much or are have been unsatisfactory in either quality or capability.

Ya got us there! -
Cookies, soda, chips, dips, or any one of several take-outs ranging from authentic Mexican to several Asian cuisines.
A whole table of remotes, and some cordless phones that look like a remote in dim lighting!
And this dimmable CFL pole lamp behind me! Worth its weight in... uhhh... something, I'm sure.

Been playing with OTA since I picked up a PC ATSC tuner in 2003. Have a CM4228 UHF antenna on the roof and a Delhi VIP307SR VHF antenna on a 30ft tower. The BUD went up this spring.

Mom & Dad have had cable since the early 90's but switched to pizza last winter when the bill got too high. I have no interest in that stuff. I would set them up with a DSR410 on W5 if they weren't stuck in that 2-year faustian deal.

Straight FTA, not because I'm cheap but because I don't want to pay to watch commercials. OTA doesn't have much to offer here in my neck of the woods otherwise I'd be in to that.
(Ok I am cheap)

I am pretty much in line with Anole on his TV watching habits here. Except since I got the Azbox I just use it as the media center. have not hooked up a PC in long time to the TV.

We have Blu_Ray that almost never gets used anymore.

OTA - Winegard HD7694P - VHF High/UHF on the roof
FTA - Azure Shine (3ABN) 90 cm Ku-Band on the roof
FTA - 6' Fortec Star C-Band in the back yard
