I feel there should be a better simple basic package of channels for those that do not want or need 200 channels. I hate the fact that TCM starts in a package that cost $59.99, probably should be in a lower one. Or have themes to pick a category of channels within a price range. Don't need kids channels or sports, locals, etc then pick something else.

Dish already does. Welcome package, Family package, Top 120, Dish America, Dish Silver..... all less channels and cost less than the 200 channel package.
And an Add on package for Movies and entertainment for only $10 including getting a DVD/Blu-Ray/Games unlimited per month. (one at a time) much less than one premium movie package.
