I want to know if it would be worth upgrading my LNB to one that could use an Invacom ADF-120 Feed Horn flange.

Would this improve my gain on KU Band or is this more of a CBAND requirement.

Right now I am using a Invacom QPH-031 Quad Polar LNB currently pointed at G25

What dish are you using?
The ADF-120 is to match the F/D of a prime focus dish, most of which are in the .3 to .4 range.
(sort of like a camera with a wide angle lens)
Offset feed dishes are more likely to have an F/D of .6 to .7, and match your QPH-031 just fine.
(more like a camera with a regular or maybe telephoto lens)

But I do have some experiments I want to do with the ADF-120, so if you see 'em cheap on eBay again, do let me know.
I should have bought one, but couldn't think of a good use at the time. :)

Followup

My KU Band dish is a FORTEC STAR 36 inch/90cm KU Band Offset Dish.

Im using a 36 inch offset dish.

So basicly your saying that I would not see any noticable effect?

The QPH-031 with the offset dish is a good match. You won't gain anything by switching it...other than experience!
