All of our HD DVR's are dual tuner, but they work without subscribing to HD services. You may want to go with a 211, and activate an EHD if you want a single tuner receiver. What do you mean by "meg 3"?

In standard QPSK, 2 bits per symbol, in standard 8PSK it's 3.

I was thinking along the same line (8PSK vs QPSK), but didn't know the bits difference. Still, I would say a 211 may be the way to go.

The 211 is a solo HD receiver, you can turn it into a DVR by hooking up an external hard drive to it and paying the one time $40 fee (we did round it to $40 instead of $39.99).
