I had to reaim my dad's secondary dish yesterday and since I haven't had Dish in at least a decade I didn't know what signal should be. He has a Dish 500 (yes the old Dish 500) and a Wally. There was signal originally but it was like 20-25 or so
I used ESPN (I knew that you shouldn't use the "old reliables" (from when I had Dish) Tp 11 & 12) so I tuned in ESPN and aimed
Got signal up to 70-72 and that seemed to be the "max" I could get. But of course sitting on a roof with a little TV to see the signal as it moves isn't the best when its hot out. Is that good or should it be higher (liked in the 80s??)
