I'm new to this forum, but have dabbled in FTA for some time (casually). I got a free BUD with a Chaparral Dual Band LNB. I was wondering how to deal with the servo motor, as I am using a FTA receiver with a V-Box to move the dish. ANY help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Uglyben

Most of us, I think, just use an old analog IRD to switch polarity back and forth. Slower than replacing the lnb with one of the newer lnbf's that change polarity electronically though. There are c/ku lnbfs (no servo motor) but seems like sometimes they have a different focal distance between the c and ku sides, so you have to settle for something in between optimum for either.
