HI
Got this dish from a friend of mine who can' t find the mount for it. Does anyone know how to set that baby up on some kind of mount?
Or better yet, have a picture of a simular dish mounted so I can figure how to get that dish set up somehow?
Thanks!

that looks almost complete.

You should replace that long rusty vertical bolt (if possible) and the nuts and washers.

that is your elevation adjustment.

And get some bolts that will fit horizontally. A 2" pipe should fit in there.

Mount your 2" mast in the ground if you can. It needs to be perfectly vertical.

Update

Hello

Thanks to everyone for all the information that was offered to me. I would have loved to go measure the dish but northern Maine is having major Thunder storms so I'll wait until tomorrow.

I want to mount this dish on a deck on my roof so I'm going to go the non-perf mount route here. I really enjoyed all of your inputs. I didn't realize that the only thing missing was the post to make that dish operational. I have the Ku LNB and mount here inside the house. I just want to set up the dish first before I install the LNB.

It is truly an honor to be on this website with such knowledgeable members.

That's a fine lookin' molded dish! It appears to be about a 1.2 meter size, similar to my Channel Masters.

back when I used to put in Muzak, I think that was the same dish.

( I would love to have one of those flat roof mounts we had. The kind you hold down withe bricks.

I know you can buy them still, free is better)
