I would like to take a poll on which connection people are using with their HDTV and Voom Receiver.

Actually, it's DVI to HDMI. Pioneer plasma panel has HDMI, so I bought a DVI/HDMI cable, and PQ is better with this when compared to component, which is also hooked up and active at the same time.

I use the components because my TV doesn't support DVI. But if it did I would most likely still use the components because I can feed all my devices into my A/V receiver and then only one set of cables to the TV.

Currently using DVI, but I prefer the component cable. I only have 2 component inputs to my tv and they are used by the DVD and HDTV OTA receiver).

i have both component, and dvi connected, until i power off the tv, then i unhook the dvi in order for the stb to stay on and now power off

Does Voom include a DVI cable with install?

Voom's new upgrade eliptical dish?
