What will you do with your SDTV 2009.

Yep - it was proposed, and sadly, shot down. Most of the world is eliminating VHF for digital TV broadcasts. Then they were going to drop just the lower tier of VHF and start at 7. Again, shot down. Then, as a minimal effort, channel 2 was to be dropped. That never went anywhere. However, mother nature will likely eliminate channel 2, and perhaps 3 and 4 as well.

Might be moot. OTA broadcasting doesn't seem to have a bright future right now. They'll have to morph or say goodbye and good night.

How exactly will mother nature do away with 2, 3, and 4?

PS- Love your sig!

Thanks. :D

Yeah! I have more weather-related problems with my local NBC station (ch.2) than with any other OTA channel! Even though the tower is just 12 miles away.

Is strange, I have more problems with chan (4) KMOV than KTVI (2).

only 20ish miles from source on all 3 though. *shrug*

You have to realize though, those channel numbers are remapped. They aren't the same "2" and "4" that is on analog.

ah ha. guess that makes sense. didn't think of that since i pull my OTA through Antenna and it shows as 2.1 and 4.1 :)
