I am currently leasing my STB for 9.95 per month. I am also subscribing to Va Va Voom for 79.95 a month. I would gladly return the current STB and get the HD DVR instead and be willing to lease it for 14.95 per month. I would not want to commit to the Va Va Voom package for 2 years just for the right to lease the HD DVR. I would commit to a minimum package configuration for 2 years to have the right to lease the HD DVR. I like the option to be able to upgrade to Va Va Voom or go back to "Basic Service" without confusing the issue of whether I can keep my STB or not.
