I was offered this dish.I believe it is fiber glass by the photos,but I'm not familiar with FG dishes.It couldn't be a four segment metal dish could it? The only FG dish I saw up close had way more reinforcement in the back.What you you folks think? Thanks!
There are a few of those up around these parts. Who made them is an unknown. Sold under a multitude of 'brands' BITD. Here we have one in storage
I'd give it the string test to check for warps. If it fails slightly, some guy wires in strategic place could put it back into shape. That and or some struts on the back.
After rereading my opening post I see it was misleading.What I meant was: Is it fiber glass?
If so,I won't fool with it.Too darn heavy for my pole.But if it is metal...I'll go check it out.
I'm getting picky now.Only dishes I'm watching for now are a 12 ft or larger mesh,and/or a 4 ft or larger solid metal.Otherwise I think I'm good.
