Was wondering if anyone would oblige telling me which DTV sats correspond to the different available dishes / LNBs?

i.e. - E* Dish500 looks at 119 and 110, or the TurboHD looks at 61.5, 72 and 77, etc.

Would anyone be so kind as to provide a chart, link, or list as to the different DTV dishes and their corresponding sats.

Thank you for your contribution to my search for knowledge.

The newer dish set ups from D* , they all look at the 99, 101 and 103 sats, thats where the majority of programming comes from. probably 90% of it are on those three sats.

There are really 5 different setups

18" dish...sees 101...SD setup only
Phase III...sees 101, 110,119...SD setups only
slimline 3 LNB sees 99/101/103...99 & 103 are HD sats
slimline 5 LNB sees 99/101/103/110/119...used when SD locals are on 119 or you want Spanish programming which is on 119...nothing is on 110 right now

5th dish is a International dish that sees 101 & 95...if you use any other dish setup above other than 101 the 2nd dish is just for 95W where the International channels are

Round 18" dish receives 101.
Phase III oval sees 101, 110, and 119.
AT9 Sidecar and AU9 Slimline with 5LNB dish receives 99, 101, 103, 110, and 119.
The Slimline with 3LNB gets 99, 101, and 103.

yep. Pretty much

But there are some markets that regardless of what you order you get the slimline 3 LNB due to some local markets being MPEG4 on 99 or 103

Thats GOOD, the Slimline 3 is all that is really required for the majority of them anymore.

I like my slimline better than my SWiM.

If I ever find time to run another line to my bedroom I may go back to the SL3 and skip the SWiM ....

JImbo
When I say slimline 3 I mean the slimline dish that gets 99/101/103...it may be a SWM install ;)
