Update................received my Dish Dongle today and got it installed, it immediately brought up the proper screen and i did the reboot, scanned the channels and working PERFECT...........

Was the white one you ordered a single or dual tuner?

If it ain't for a space shot or brain surgery you have to expect some DOA devices will ship.
If it is for a space shot or brain surgery it would be to expensive for me to buy.
Usually when I receive a DOA, I notify them and they supply a return label send a replacement.
