Why On Wednesdays?

Does anyone know the reason why they always had channels on Wednesdays?? Is it something with uplinks that have to go live or something? Even Dish does Wednesdays also.

maybe a slower day customer service wise so when they launch locals or something if there is an issue the system isnt bogged down...just a thought

Ever hear the old chestnut about not buying a car that wasn't built on Wednesday?

Low quality days:
Monday built car: pissed because the weekend is over.
Friday built car: already looking forward to the weekend.

Comcast used to always do launches on Tuesdays. Early in the week is good because it gives them time to fix issues (if there are any) before the weekend. Not immediately in the beginning of the week because of prep work or testing.
