Hi, I'am very new to this site and to true fta. I have just recently installed a 33inch dish onto a sg2100 motor using a Ivacom lnb. I'am using a VS Plat. I see the s/w blind scan is about as useless as anything so my question is how do we find up to date working wild feeds? Is it a subscription type deal here or do they get pmed to forum users? I ask only because this unit really stinks for blindscanning and I would really like to see a few wild feeds here and there.
Thanks for any assistance.

btw: Maybe there is a site that lists them?

Wild feeds are kind of hit n miss. No specific time or day they'll show up in some cases. Check lyngsat.com you'll find plenty of feeds on several sats.

Were you asking for general info on birds and wild feed content, or specific birds, frequencies, and times?
If the former, see this recent thread from yesterday.
If the latter, well.. I think you know the answer. :)

And while that may not be a very satisfactory answer, here's a thought...
Lots of the guys have gotten receivers specifically for blind scanning...
And another to watch while the first is busy.
If it's a solution to your problem, maybe it's worth considering. ;)
I'm looking for a good blind scanner, too.
Some have been suggested in other threads.
