I was extremely disappointed I had to resort to the internet to watch the car chase, double car jacking, high speed scenario today. I could not find a C band feed of this anywhere on my system...

Well, it's over now.... Besides, it will be repeated a gazillion times on CBS today. I watched it on a CBS out of Denver, CO.

It made it into the national evening news too. At least no one was killed.

The chopper could have had a direct link to the studio, so no satellites were used.

It was on the ABC mux (12010 V 11573) on 91W, with the other channel in the mux showing the gas explosion/building collapse in Harlem. Recorded some of the car chase on the AZBox while flipping between the two channels on the Pansat!

Almost all news feeds are on ku-band.

ABC Newsone has them several times a week and I suspect CBS and NBC feeds carry them too.
