Not unless you have a SWM8 with Legacy ports. Unless it is Directv branded it won't work with SWM and about half the Directv branded won't work.

Dont know what legacy ports are, I do have an 8 port thing in the basement hooked up to a power source

So no dice then? Sodoun sp? Says it will work but only get 101 which is all I need I don't need HD on the set that I need the reciever for

It's unusual that you have a Slimline and SWM lnb, but no other hd equipment.

SLIMLINE WITH DRD430

I have a drd 430 with my slimline working, it gets locals, just gets 101, 110, 119. Don't know if you have a different slimline than mine.
