Just want to confirm that the servo circuit (3+ shield) is a separate cable group from the sensor (2+ shield) cable group. Servo and sensor are not carried inside the same shield.

The shield bare drain wire is typically connected only on the controller and left open (unconnected) at the dish end.

So 2+ shield for the Ajak? (plus power of course)

IF the Ajak is a reed switch and not an optical, then 2 wires + shield is correct. If it's an optical, convert it to reed switch.

AJAK did not use anything but a reed switch. The only optical one I know of is Titanium's and I built that sensor. But if you need an improved reed style sensor, I got em

YES Depends on how you count the drain wire

Correction - should have said that my 12 ft mesh dish would benefit as my motor only has 5 magnets and I use it for C band and Ku band
