Wireless Hookup w/Airport Express

I have an Apple Extreme Base Station running through Embarq DSL for my 2 laptop wireless connections to the internet. It is "impossible" to wire my DVR's directly to the Base Station via ethernet. I want to use 2 Airport Expresses and plug them directly into my 2 DVR's and have them connect wirelessly to my Base Station. All I have found is confusion as I Google. Does anyone know the correct way to do this?

Airport vs Powerline

I'm having more success using powerline hard wired to the APExtreme. The Airport network is fine with standard def, but the powerline plays HD without a glitch. Should cost you a bit less to buy the powerline pack than 2 Expresses.

What is "powerline?" I have 2 TV's that I can't get ethernet to from the router. How does Powerline work?
