Does WNGS Buffalo broadcast either a digital or analog signal from Buffalo? Or is it strictly cable/satellite feeds? I have found one reference on another site that their digital transmission application for 823kW is inactive, and have been unable to find their current web site.

WNGS is from Springville (according to tvradioworld.com)

Right now they are at 34.7 KW (according to FCC site) with an application to be at full power (5000 kw)
Also has an app for 823KW digital signal

tower location

They are on FTA on Galaxy 10 :)

Looks as if they will be just out of my range. Rochester comes in fine, Buffalo is getting near fringe, but Springville may just be beyond for my reception. I have been receiving them on G10R, but if I could get them via OTA, it might eliminate some of the audio pops and dropouts they so frequently have. The picture may also be better as they have more bandwidth to use.
I had always seen them listed as Buffalo/Springville, did not know that Springville was where the transmitter was.
Thanks for the information. I will also have to check out that web site.
