Currently have a FTA reciever hooked up in the living room. I would like to put my DTV box there also. I know that I should run a seperate line to the DTV reciever but that would be a real pain. Could I use a dual power passing diplexer to combine both the FTA signal and DTV signal to work on the single line going to the living room. The diplexer considered is the winegard dp3020-dish-antenna-voltage-regulated-amplified-receiver-12-vdc-dc-passing.

Or would there be another switch combination that would permit this.

Thanks........

Redfish,
You might want to have a mod. move this to the FTA section (Free To Air) , you'll get more input there, your currently in the Directv area. :)

Diplexers only work with OTA(cable) frequencies 18-890 Mhz. and Satellite frequencies 950-2150 Mhz. You can't combine 2 satellite systems using the same frequencies on the same cable
