Wrong LNB?

I thought I had this figured out on our last RV. Got a new pair of Wally receivers, some dual coax and a new Dish Network 1000.2. Cannot seem to get a signal at the first receiver I'm checking. RG6 checks good from point to point. Correct Skew, Alt, & Azi. Odd thing is I'm seeing the Wally identify the LNB as a Hybrid and not a DPP. When I checked the label on the LNB, it shows dpH. Do I need to get the DPP LNB instead? Will the Hybrid work with the two Wally receivers or did I order the wrong antenna as it appears to be:
  • WESTERN ARC
  • Dish Pro Plus Technology Can Supply 2 Tuners from 1 Line
  • NEW HYBRID LNB FOR THE LATEST HOPPER RECEIVERS

Odd is the el cheapo Wingard signal meter mostly pegs until I bring the attenuation very high to get it to mid signal. Also signal does not change when changing azimuth.

I do recall that the LNB on the previous antenna which I sold with the RV was the DPP as I just pulled it up at AMZN. Other than learning the intricacies of pointing, I had few issues. Also, the previous Wally could easily be put into the correct mode to point.

The two Wally’s should be working off of a DPP LNBF. that’s doing it by the book.

What's wrong with a channel stack splitter?

Nothing, if you can find one. And I’m not exactly sure because Dish mostly only uses them in commercial applications but don’t you need a 40 to switch the four of the channel stack splitters? This is one thing I’ve never been to sure about

Just wondering on the new Wally receivers if it will do a check switch without a signal from a satellite. When I go to the signal test at the top of the check installation screen, tuner is 0 and I cannot select a satellite. It does identify the DPP switch. So far only red Xs in the failed check switch. I've made tiny movements from the proper magnetic azimuth of 218.4. Have mast plumb, Skew and altitude correct.

Never mind Emily. Finally got a non-foreigner in support at Dish Network. Made life better.
