wrong sats coming up

hello, i have a strange problem i have a motorized system with a gemstar 76cm dish an invacom linear and circular lnbf and a sg2100 motor, and a viewsat 2000 platinum receiver. My problem is when i go to get quality on a sat, in this case 110, echo8.6 on the very top right hand corner it says that I am in fact picking up the echo 7 sat, mind you I have a signal strength of 83 and quality of 100, what gives, and what can I do to fix this, thanks

The receiver can't tell what satellite you're on. You can point the dish to, say, 110 and use the 119 setup on your receiver, and it will say you're on 119. The only way to tell what bird you're on is to blind scan and find out what channels you're getting.

What channels are you receiving, and what channels are you trying to get? There isn't much FTA on 110 and 119....
