If you're on triple play, then I assume you have Comcast cable TV, meaning you fall in the first bullet point category I posted earlier. Comcast cable TV subscribers (at least those at or above a certain package level) automatically qualify for Peacock Premium. They don't need to have a Flex box on their account.

Correct..i dont even have cable boxes..I use the xfinity ap on roku..built in dvr on the ap

I still have Comcast at my house in Michigan, Broadband only, I get Peacock, activated here in Florida ( have Charter here) using my Comcast login, it is the $4.99 version, all the programming, but with Commercials.

By the way, have not used it once since I first activated it 2 months ago, just a bunch of older content I have already seen, most of it is on the OTA sub channels also.

I really didn't want it, but the pandemic stretched the EPL schedule, so I needed it to watch more Liverpool fixtures. Turns out, Peacock has an absurd amount of Alpine sports, cross country skiing, ski jump, all sorts of down hill skiing, biathlon, speed skating (both long track and short track roller derby), no announcers (but graphics), no commercials. Brilliant! Only complaint is you can't start an event over (or rewind) when live.

Don't think I've streamed anything not sports.

No idea what you like but I enjoyed Departure and The Capture as well as Yellowstone. Haven’t checked lately if there is anything new.

Newer stuff coming

Why not..all the premium european soccer is included in premium
They carry some Premier League games but most are still on NBCSN (soon to be USA). CBS all access has Champions League and FA Cup.

ESPN+ has FA Cup and the *Insert Sponsor* League Cup (all behind streaming paywall, but they provide access to almost everything).

TNT, turn CBS, did a great job of putting Champions League and Europa behind streaming paywalls.

You don't have a Flex box on your Comcast broadband account? If not, and you were able to activate the free Peacock Premium, then it was a fluke in their system. Here's the exact quote from Peacock's website:

Who is eligible to get Peacock Premium with their Xfinity subscription?
Peacock Premium is included at no additional cost for all Xfinity Flex customers and Xfinity X1 and video customers who have a subscription to Xfinity Internet or Digital Starter TV, or equivalent, or above. Peacock Premium has a $4.99/month value.

I know I had to activate the Flex box to get Peacock Premium. As soon as I got it working I put the Flex back in its shipping box and it sits until they ask for it back. The app still work even with it in the shipping box.

Not a fluke..read closer..it says cable subscribers with broadband too..worded really vague tho

activated it on a Roku in Florida, tried out a Flex Box more then a year ago, returned it a few days later, a total POS.

"The “WWE Network” branding will remain present on Peacock. WWE Network will be available on both Peacock’s premium ($4.99 per month) and ad-free ($9.99) plans, so current subscribers of the wrestling service, which costs $9.99 monthly, will actually be saving money if they opt for the $4.99 option."

My take is that Peacock is betting that all of the current subscribers will stay(why wouldn't they, they can pay the same price and get all of the non WWE stuff as well) and also hoping way more wrestling fans (new subscribers) will now pay the $4.99 premium plan to get WWE and peacock programming.

Hmmn..... Could WWE Network-Peacock Deal Set the Stage for Comcast Buying WWE?

They run a Block of comnercials BEFORE the movie..on some but not all the movies

Yeah, I got the Flex box out of curiosity, which activated Peacock Premium for me. I didn't like the Flex or its remote either. Just clunky and bad.

For my parents, I ordered the Flex box but never even connected it to their TV. Just kept it in the box and stuck it under a bed.
