Wonder if that goes for WWUP which is their repeater station out of Saulte Ste Marie too. WWTV is the CBS affiliate for a huge swath of Northern Michigan.

Dish uses the same spot beam for all on TC market channels.

Seems like Michigan is the only place it is not available on dish currently. You might be able to "move" to a nearby city or state, to get different locals, but an imported CBS almost assuredly will not happen(I have seen it once and that was for special events in NC)

I'm asking for a friend with Dish, I have DTV and they substitute a distant station if the network is not available locally. In my case we get CW from Washington DC as we don't have a CW here.

CW is an exception with Directv. During disputes they don't import another station

Not if you are in "our" area. WWTV is it.

Yep it is it. The CW in our area comes from NY WPIX Cable offers CW 100 which is a fake local origination call CW 61

This stupid fight is taking longer that the last one. WWTV is using the old "Programming is worth a nickle" again. Sometimes with what is on nowdays makes one wonder, "Is it?"
If you have any TV providers, keeping an antenna, if allowed, sure is a good idea.

9&10 is reporting on Facebook that the two sides are far apart from a contract. They also state if they do not come to a contract soon they will be forced to drop CBS

That sure would make a large amount of Michigan Dish customers to look in other places to get CBS. If it was not for my antenna, I would be real ticked off by now.
