Good evening you guys and gals there are some Xmas channels in HD you might to check out

The merrist month dish scapes
Channel 199
Modern holiday yule log
Channel 303
Classic yule log
Channel 304
All three in high definition

Oh yule log channels?! I love it, wonder what merriest dish scapes is. I'm thinking like Christmas type backgrounds and landscapes.

I only watch for a few seconds and the one that was there was just a still picture. So I don’t know if they’re all that way or if they’re mixing them up

199 may be a still picture, but there are twinkling lights on the cabin and snow is falling. This reminds me of xsnow which I used to enjoy on my VAXStation in the late 90's. With xsnow, you could give it any still you wanted and let it overlay falling snow which built up on the bottom of the monitor reminiscent of a window frame in a real snowstorm.
They are both animated. 303 has no audio and 304 had crackling sounds.

I heard crackling sounds on both. Isn't the modern log the one where occasionally a person (or even Santa) wanders in front of the camera?

I also noticed the problem with the audio on all three of these channels (199, 303, 304) when I checked them the other day. I had to turn the volume on my TV all the way up as high as it would go, to be able to hear anything, and even then it was still fairly quiet.

I didn't notice any audio on 199. What did you hear when you turned it up?

Flowing water in the stream, wind blowing, occasional sleigh bells. The audio is better today. I didn't have to turn it all the way up to be able to hear it, although it still helps to have the volume that high, to be able to hear everything. This is on Eastern Arc with my Hopper Duo directly connected to my Vizio TV by HDMI cable.

Why doesn't the Modern Holiday Yule Log video on Dish Channel 303 change? Last year there was Santa, dogs, kids, elves, etc. This year nothing happens except the Elf on the Shelf, the clock and a mouse. Don't mess with my family tradition! Past year's version
