Here's my little tip:

There's one constant in every NCAA Tournament. There's a #12 that beats a #5 every single year. I have Western Kentucky beating Illinois. Illinois Senior Guard Chester Frazier is hurting and is questionable to even play in this game.

Any team that can't score 40 points in a game and is without a top scorer? Illinois losing is an easy pick.

That and VCU (11) beating UCLA (6), seem to be the two most popular upset picks.

FWIW, I picked both those upsets. However, I've always subscribed to the theory, "If something looks THAT obvious..........it probably aint happenin".

But I'm sticking with both WKU and VCU just the same. ;)

Plus Frazier is the Illini's top defensive threat. Western Kentucky has a few sneaky guards. Without Frazier to guard them, I see the Hilltoppers having a field day.

Western Kentucky made it to the Sweet 16 last year, and Illinois has a key player hurt.

If anything, this is a lock.

After all, I said Illinois was overseeded.

I went against the flow and picked UCLA. Something tells me that Ben Howland has all the bullentin board material he needs.

I thought about VCU, but I heard a staggering statistic on Ben Howland coached teams. He is something like 11-1 in first round games. I can't see Howland not having his team prepared for VCU.
