YTTV to offer new packages

i would think that if there are rights issues with a particular episode, that episode would not be available anywhere? You are right though that a lot of these FAST services do only show certain eps or seasons, but the same is true of the traditional TV marathons. They usually run through the most popular eps, seasons, or story arcs.

You've got me curious now! It was definitely not complete during the CBS All Access Days, but I thought it's complete now? I just watched through a few months ago and it appeared all the eps were there except the Xmas Special (just a flashback ep) and the "lost pilot." What else did I miss? I do wish they would have the Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour on there though.

You are correct on I Love Lucy. Sometime recently they must have added the missing episodes. I checked not long ago and there were still a few missing. Now it is complete. The Brady Bunch is still missing some though. Hopefully this is a good sign that they're trying to put up complete series in the future.

You tube packages showed up today (this afternoon) but only a few of them ... not sure why they don't all show up.

That said, if you put a few packages together, your looking at $71 - $77 ...
For $5 more you get everything ... Why would you go from 150 channels to 80 channels for $5 ????

Doesn't really look like these particular packages are much of an advantage ...
We'll see if they come out with other type of packages as well (and the rest of them)

cheapest one I could find was 64.99 sports. It includes Espn channels FS1 NBAtv and others. also includes locals. I would still rather have the regular package.

I still don't like the Skinny plans $71.99 or $77.99 and you go from 168 channels to 75 ish ...

Recommended packages needs to show us all the packages and let us choose.

There are a few channels that are in the base package that are not in the Sports + News + Entertainment or Family (which is surprising) I was hoping originally that I Might be able to get all the channels I need in a smaller package, guess not ... only $5 to get everything, I guess I'll keep what I have, at least for now ... it will be nice to get the ESPN Unlimited (eventually, closer to football time) without paying extra.

I agree their current offerings aren't really a good deal at all. If you're paying $64.99 for the sports package it's less than a $20 a month difference to go to the full package.

That is because the most expensive channels are in the new plans. Would anyone subscribe to a package for say $25 with the cheapest channels in it?

I understand that, but making a Skinny bundle for people and make it only 5% saving isn't much of a Skinny bundle, seeing the purpose to going with a skinny bundle was to save money.

Yes I agree with that.

Save money for youtube tv...your perspective is wrong

Please explain .... what you said, doesn't say what your trying to say ... :imconfused
Youtubes profit margin increases because you are paying more money per channel on the skinny bundle..Youtube is paying channel providers less because they are giving you fewer channels...youtube is making much more money with skinny bundles

In a nut shell. Skinny bundles save youtubetv money not the consumer
