General Sports Trivia

I'm confused. You said the other 2 were teammates, and you confirmed Hank Aaron as being one. When did Brock play for the Braves? How about Stan Musial?
If I'm NOT mistaken Brock never played for the Braves. He was traded from the Cubs to St Louis for pitcher Ernie Broglio.

OK, that's got to be Eddie Mathews.

Yes, Eddie's rookie season (1952) was the Braves last season in Boston and his last season (1966) with the Braves was the first season in Atlanta. He played with Detroit in 1967 and ended his Hall Of Fame career with Houston in 1968.

The most popular answer is Henry Aaron or Warren Spann. Henry never played in Boston, his rookie year was the first in Milwaukee and Spannie never played in Atlanta, he left the Braves after the 1964 season, retiring at the end of the 1965 season which he played with the Mets and Giants.

Now..... let's get to my 3 Olympian Gold Medel question. I don't know if the answer is published anywhere. I know the answer because their high school was my high school's arch rival.

You are correct, Lou was traded by the Cubs to the Cardinals on June 30, 1964. At that time, the trading deadline. He was a major factor in the Cardnials catching the Phillies (Phillies helped the Cards out) and beating the Yankees :shocked :no :shocked in the World Series.
