Funny! Yeah, in Detroit he was a perfect fit. I was kind of sad to see Detroit did not re-up him for another year. He could have played off the bench.

So, with the flurry of blockbuster trades this past 2 weeks, whom do you guys like in the playoffs this year?
I see a Detroit - Boston final in the East, and a LA - Phoenix final in the West.
Detroit - LA in the championship. I"ll take Detroit (mostly because I'm a homer) in the end. Deep bench, and the most experienced starting 5 in the league.

ON PAPER....it's pretty obvious who the favorites are....but I will look foward to the end of the season and the playoffs. I WILL predict that one of the favorites that EVERYONE thinks will be there....will more than likely not be.
Personally, I think it's pretty lame, only 32 so far, I did not look to see if channel 5 (I think it's 5) that covers the Reds locally, at least it use to be... is doing any HD for them.

Verducci from CNN/SI picked the REDS to be his darkhorse winner in the Central. But, I love my REDS dearly....but they will GO NOWHERE with the "ARM KILLER" as manager.

That guy had THE PITCHING STAFF of the future in Chicago....I mean WOOD, PRYOR and Zambrano....THAT trio, IF they could have stayed healthy, could have rivaled ANY....and I DO MEAN ANY...starting 3 in the last 30-40 years.....and blew out the arms of 2 out of those 3.

Well the Lakers just won their 10th in a row and they're 11-1 since getting Pau Gasol. Now I'm really wondering how Bynum is going to fit in when he returns. They'll either be awesome or it'll throw a wrench into the works. It's going to be interesting. Personally I hate to say this, but I bet the streak ends tonight in Portland. Portland has always given the Lakers problems for some reason.
How much longer is he out? I would think after a week or so of getting the cobwebs out, he'll fit in just fine. Gasol has certainly energized Kobe.

I haven't been following all of the teams so that would be a tough one. I did see the North Carolina/Boston College game today though and I liked the way that N.C. came back. Good teams have that ability.

Sorry bud, it wasn't the starting 5 that didn't win last season, it was the serious lack of a bench the last 2 seasons that killed us. Not this year, we got a bench again. How's Wallace working out for you guys so far? Bad trade, you'll see.
