That was an extremely soft goal...he gave up 2 on 7 shots. Anyway, I love how the Versus announcer ranted and raved for 30-seconds about Crosby anticipating the Lindstrom pass. He then caught himself and quickly said, "what a stop by Chris Osgood." Check it out with 4:16 left in the period.

I heard it when it happened, and noticed it as well.

Earlier in the day there was talk that Samulson was sick and Draper would be in there tonight.

Heard earlier today that Hossa will be signing a 7 year contract after the playoffs are over, or may have already signed, but waiting till after to announce it.

2-2 after the 2nd Period. Wings were all over the Pens this period (outshot the Pens 14-4), but they didn't get any breaks. That's the way it sometimes goes. Overall, the Wings are doing everything they need to win this one - they just need to put the puck in the net.

We're back where we started so the 3rd Period should be a good one. We shall see...

Sorry, I heard something on NHL Network the other day that mentioned Hossa was perhaps interested in Edmonton. Just though I would ask since I don't live in the area. Anyway, I just looked at detnews.com Sports page and all has been answered.

Could have went either way.

He came about as close covering that puck as one can come without actually covering it. Also, it looked like he was in the crease, but the puck was just outside the line. Very close though.
