2009 Stanley Cup Playoffs

That was an extremely soft goal...he gave up 2 on 7 shots. Anyway, I love how the Versus announcer ranted and raved for 30-seconds about Crosby anticipating the Lindstrom pass. He then caught himself and quickly said, "what a stop by Chris Osgood." Check it out with 4:16 left in the period.

I heard it when it happened, and noticed it as well.

Now the team can look at it as a best of the next two periods, no score 40 minutes to go .... maybe Ozzie can get his previous game psyche going.

I'm guessing that Samulson is feeling better, at least till he hit the post.

Earlier in the day there was talk that Samulson was sick and Draper would be in there tonight.
Draper btw, can't crack the lineup now .:p

Heard earlier today that Hossa will be signing a 7 year contract after the playoffs are over, or may have already signed, but waiting till after to announce it.

2-2 after the 2nd Period. Wings were all over the Pens this period (outshot the Pens 14-4), but they didn't get any breaks. That's the way it sometimes goes. Overall, the Wings are doing everything they need to win this one - they just need to put the puck in the net.

We're back where we started so the 3rd Period should be a good one. We shall see...

Let's Go Wings!!!

Wings hit a post and a crossbar in the 2nd, so I no longer feel the Pens fans can complain about nothing going thier way.
