3rd and 7 coming up around the Texas 30.
A First down and they can run the clock more and potentially set up a FG to win the game.
If they don't make the 1st down and kick the FG now that would leave Texas about 1:10 or so to go back down the field.

They didn't try for the first down, going to kick the FG now, but Texas will have about 1:45 to go down the field.

I want to see a major BCS mess. I still think that Florida is better suited to play Alabama in the NC over TCU, BSU or Cincy. Of the three TCU is the better option maybe. Any of those three will result in poor ratings. People want to see the best teams which are Florida and Alabama.

Texas didn't look good tonight, don't get me wrong, but let's remember that Alabama barely beat Tennessee and Florida barely beat Arkansas.
