Wow, if this mount had been available 3..4 years ago, I'd have had one by now! - :up
Hope it's a good seller for ya.

I looked at the pictures and wasn't sure where the declination adjuster was located.
Probably just overlooked it in my excitement.
edit: oh, now I see it in the pictures on your web site.

Looks like declination adjustment on lower hinge in picture #3. You can see the adjustment bolt sticking below the hinge behind the polar axis. Likely a bolt welded to a steel tube that fits through a flange.
Nice mount..

I've got both items pole and the mount. I love them! On my 6 foot Fortec I also hooked up the Gbox and I'm in Cband heaven. I was surprised how solid the pole is once its mounted. I used lead anchors and leg screws to mount mine to an old concrete patio table top. My only issue is I wish I had the 8 foot dish and not a six. I do miss some things to the far east 87w and far west 135W. I can manually adjust the declination- raise or lower the dish if I want those birds. But the mount and the pole are really nice. Blind:)

I own a fortecstar 2.4m tripod mount dish, can the SP 180 replacement Polar mount be used on it with a 24 inch actuator? Has anyone this configuration o has this mount on a bud superior to the SD 180? I intend getting one immediately if all is ok. Thanks to all.

Divo, I have the pole mount with a 24" acuator on a six foot Fortec dish. I scan from 72W to 135W no problems. I can't get farther than 135W as the accuator is at its limit and I have massive trees there too. Can't go below 72W due to trees but the acuator goes farther east for sure....Seems to work ok for me...Blind

Divo,

This mount is designed for the 180cm dish. The ring is not big enough to support a 2.4m dish. However, is it impossible, NO. Is it recommended? No.

I intend to use the mount on an 8 feet dish (240cm) fortecstar and my question was if it is possible since Sadoun sells it for 6 feet.

I intended taking off the ring and welder that of the 2.4m dish on the mount only if it is robust enough to support dish. Can i ? Thanks

Im really interested in this mount as well as one of your 180cm dishes to go with it. The only reason I'm holding back is the color. Do you have any in a dark or charcoal type color?
